For Petra, photography is much more than a way of capturing an image. It is a way of seeing — of witnessing the subtle magic hidden in the dance of light and shadow, in the silent moments when we settle dawn and truly contemplate. It is her personal path toward deeper connection — with herself, with life, and with the mystery of the present moment.
Her early photographic journeys led her far and wide: beyond the polar circle, beneath the surface of oceans, and toward far-off civilizations. Through photography, she explored new worlds, listened to their stories, and experienced life again and again — always differently.
“What I brought back was not just a sense of adventure, but also the awareness that the longest and most important journey is the one within. To the gentle light on a flower, to the wind in motion. To the almost imperceptible moments that become eternal — if we give them our full attention.”
Every one of her images captures a moment when outer light meets inner landscape, revealing delicate messages, hidden beauty, and the quiet poetry of now.
